I started carpet cleaning in 1999 working exclusively in rental properties. Almost anything you can imagine is on rental property carpets. I am grateful for those opportunities. This allowed me the experience to deal with nearly any difficult stains, spots and spills that can be tracked onto carpets and upholstery. After about a year I moved into the occupied high-end residential sector where client interactions, communication skills along with care and respect for the home are just as if not more important than the actual cleaning. By 2003 I was the senior tech overseeing a multi truck carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and disaster restoration operation in Bellevue, Wa. At his point there was no more room for advancement. During the summer of 2005 I separated from Ace Cartozian & Custom Care, one of Washington's oldest and largest cleaning and restoration companies. In June of 2005 my wife Kelly and I with support of friends and family launched JRP Carpet Care.
Our goal is to focus on high quality residential textile cleaning, repair and maintenance.

I stay abreast of the most current cleaning products and practices by attending educational seminars and taking certification courses every year.
I acquire more than the required continuing education credits (CECs). Why do I do more than the minimum requirements?
I understand that if I do not take care of my clients somebody else will.
Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certifications: Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) Upholstery Cleaning Technician (UFT) Odor Control Technician (OCT) Color Repair Technician (CRT) Repair and Reinstallation Technician (RRT) Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Journeyman Water Restorer: earned after 12 months of WRT, CCT, RRT certifications.
MASTER TEXTILE CLEANER (MTC) A minimum of three (3) years after original certification date plus attainment of specific certifications as listed below. * Certification in CCT, UFT, OCT, RRT and CRT.
